A thatched canopy and soft straw tassels bring the feel of a beach cabana to your own backyard. The generous 8.5 ft two-tier top throws wide, cooling shade, while the powder-coated eight-rib frame stands steady when the breeze picks up. It turns an ordinary patio into a shaded coastal retreat.
What Makes It Special
- 8.5 ft two-tier canopy — A wide double-top shade that covers a seating area, bistro table, or lounge chair with room to spare.
- Built for breezy days — The vented double top lets air pass through and eases wind stress, so the umbrella holds steady when the coastal breeze kicks up.
- UPF 30+ protection — 180 gsm polyester fabric blocks the harsh midday sun and keeps your seating area comfortable through the afternoon.
- Powder-coated frame — Eight metal ribs and a coated pole give the canopy strong, weather-resistant support season after season.
- Simple rope pulley — An easy rope-and-pulley system raises and lowers the canopy so you can set your shade in seconds.

Cushions & Fabric
- Unzip and remove cushion covers for machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, spot-treat with mild soap before washing.
- Stand cushions on edge after rain to allow water to drain and air to circulate.
- Store cushions indoors or in a deck box during extended periods of rain, snow, or off-season.
Steel Frame
- Powder-coated finish resists rust, but wipe down periodically with a dry cloth to remove salt air residue.
- If you notice any chips or scratches in the coating, touch up with an outdoor metal paint to prevent rust.
- Check bolt connections once per season and tighten as needed.
General Care
- Clean regularly with mild soap and warm water.
- Cover or store during extreme weather to extend lifespan.
- Inspect hardware connections seasonally and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Beach-cabana style
The thatched straw canopy and soft tassels bring a relaxed tiki look to the patio, poolside, or garden without any tropical kitsch.
Two-tier vented shade
The double top spreads cooling shade across a full seating area while the vent between tiers releases trapped heat and wind.
Weather-ready build
Powder-coated ribs and pole resist rust and fading, standing up to sun, salt air, and gusty afternoons through the season.
