8-Foot Thatched Beach Umbrella
A seven-layer thatched canopy stretched across eight steel ribs — this umbrella brings the ease of a shoreline cabana to wherever you plant it. The UPF30+ canopy shades a generous circle, wide enough for two loungers or a small gathering, while the powder-coated pole stays planted in sand or soft ground. It breaks down to carry, so the shade goes with you from the beach to the backyard.
What Makes It Special
- 8-foot canopy — Spans a generous circle of shade — room for two loungers, a side table, or a small gathering on sand or grass.
- Seven-layer thatch, UPF30+ — Dense woven thatch over a PP canopy blocks meaningful sun through long, comfortable afternoons outdoors.
- Waterproof lining — A polyester inner lining sheds light rain cleanly and dries without holding odor.
- Eight-rib steel frame — Eight metal ribs hold the canopy taut and even against coastal breezes.
- Rust-resistant pole — Powder-coated high-strength steel resists rust and peeling through salt air and repeated seasons.

Cushions & Fabric
- Unzip and remove cushion covers for machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, spot-treat with mild soap before washing.
- Stand cushions on edge after rain to allow water to drain and air to circulate.
- Store cushions indoors or in a deck box during extended periods of rain, snow, or off-season.
Steel Frame
- Powder-coated finish resists rust, but wipe down periodically with a dry cloth to remove salt air residue.
- If you notice any chips or scratches in the coating, touch up with an outdoor metal paint to prevent rust.
- Check bolt connections once per season and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Thatched Shade, Eight Feet Across
Seven layers of woven thatch over a polypropylene canopy give this umbrella the warmth and texture of a beach cabana. At eight feet in diameter, there is room for two loungers or a small table and chairs, and the UPF30+ rating blocks the sun through the longest afternoons.
A Frame Built for Coastal Conditions
Eight steel ribs hold the canopy evenly taut against the breeze, and the powder-coated steel pole resists rust and corrosion through salt air and repeated seasons. The pointed pole base sets cleanly into sand or soft ground without a separate base.
Portable by Design
The umbrella breaks down into a compact form for easy carrying, so it moves from car to beach to backyard without effort. The waterproof polyester lining dries quickly after a passing shower and holds no odor from the fabric.
