A 9.5-foot palapa umbrella that brings the shade and easy mood of a beachside cabana to your own patio. The layered PE thatch canopy filters the sun while a vented, two-tier top lets warm air escape, so the space underneath stays cooler and steadier when a breeze picks up.
What Makes It Special
- Tropical thatch canopy — High-quality PE thatch over polyester delivers dense, tiki-style shade that resists fading and wear season after season.
- Two-tier vented top — The layered canopy channels wind through the vent instead of fighting it, staying cooler underneath and steadier overhead.
- Reinforced metal frame — A heavy-duty metal pole with triangle support and 8 ribs holds the canopy taut and steady through everyday use.
- Real sun protection — Thick thatch layering blocks direct sun across a wide footprint, shading a full seating or dining area below.
- Cross base included — Ships with a cross base, so you have the support you need to set it up and stand it steady out of the box.

Cushions & Fabric
- Unzip and remove cushion covers for machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, spot-treat with mild soap before washing.
- Stand cushions on edge after rain to allow water to drain and air to circulate.
- Store cushions indoors or in a deck box during extended periods of rain, snow, or off-season.
Steel Frame
- Powder-coated finish resists rust, but wipe down periodically with a dry cloth to remove salt air residue.
- If you notice any chips or scratches in the coating, touch up with an outdoor metal paint to prevent rust.
- Check bolt connections once per season and tighten as needed.
General Care
- Clean regularly with mild soap and warm water.
- Cover or store during extreme weather to extend lifespan.
- Inspect hardware connections seasonally and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Palapa-style shade
The dense PE thatch canopy recreates the look and cool, filtered light of a beachside cabana, giving your patio a genuine tropical feel rather than a flat, ordinary shade.
Built to handle a breeze
The vented two-tier design lets warm air and wind pass through the top, reducing lift and keeping the umbrella more stable on gusty afternoons.
Sturdy through the season
A reinforced metal pole, triangle support, and 8 ribs keep the canopy pulled taut, holding its shape and shade through regular outdoor use.
