Adirondack Outdoor Rocking Chair in Firwood
- Usually ships by Nov 09 – Nov 13
Built in the traditional Adirondack style from thick, outdoor-ready firwood, this rocker is made for slow afternoons on the porch. The wide seat, contoured armrests, and high-rise back invite you to settle in, while the slatted design sheds rainwater so the chair dries quickly after a passing storm.
What Makes It Special
- Solid Firwood — Thick, outdoor-ready fir wood stands up to sun, wind, and coastal weather.
- Drains Quickly — The slatted seat lets rainwater run off so the chair dries fast between showers.
- Sit-and-Stay Comfort — A wide seat, comfortable armrests, and high-rise backrest support you through long afternoons.
- Holds 398 lbs — Sturdy construction supports up to 398 pounds for confident, everyday use.
- Rustic Adirondack Style — Traditional slatted lines in a warm brown finish suit any porch, patio, or deck.

Steel Frame
- Powder-coated finish resists rust, but wipe down periodically with a dry cloth to remove salt air residue.
- If you notice any chips or scratches in the coating, touch up with an outdoor metal paint to prevent rust.
- Check bolt connections once per season and tighten as needed.
Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
General Care
- Clean regularly with mild soap and warm water.
- Cover or store during extreme weather to extend lifespan.
- Inspect hardware connections seasonally and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Made for the Outdoors
Firwood is chosen for its strength and resilience against changing weather. Left on a covered porch or open deck, it holds its shape and character season after season.
Rocking You Can Feel
The high-rise backrest and generous 36.5-inch seat give you room to lean back and unwind. Smooth rockers carry an easy, steady motion that makes it hard to get up.
Ready When It Arrives
The chair ships with a clear manual for quick setup. Once assembled, it is ready to take its place by the front door or at the edge of the garden.
