A clean-lined door canopy that earns its place above any coastal entry. Five-millimeter hollow polycarbonate and rust-resistant aluminum hardware stand up to sun, rain, and the occasional light snow without asking for upkeep. The result is a protected threshold and a sharper-looking facade.
What Makes It Special
- Full UV Defense — Hollow polycarbonate blocks harmful UV rays while the air-channel design dissipates heat to keep your doorway cooler on warm days.
- Rain and Snow Ready — The sloped canopy sheds light-to-moderate rain and gentle snow accumulation, keeping your entry dry and your footing safe.
- Straightforward Installation — All mounting hardware and instructions are included for cement and brick walls; extra wood screws are the only addition needed for wooden siding.
- Heat-Reducing Design — The hollow-sheet core circulates air beneath the panel, lowering door-area temperatures and reducing reliance on interior cooling.
- Modern Curb Appeal — Smooth contemporary lines and a warm brown finish complement coastal, craftsman, and modern exterior styles equally well.

Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
General Care
- Clean regularly with mild soap and warm water.
- Cover or store during extreme weather to extend lifespan.
- Inspect hardware connections seasonally and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
5 mm Hollow-Core Polycarbonate
The panel is formed from thick hollow polycarbonate rather than thin solid sheeting, improving both impact resistance and thermal performance. Air channels running through the core give the canopy its heat-dissipating advantage without adding bulk or weight.
Rust-Resistant Aluminum Frame
Aluminum support bars and PP brackets resist corrosion in humid, salt-influenced coastal air. The low-profile hardware stays out of sight while keeping the panel rigid through wind and weather.
Mounts to Most Wall Surfaces
The included accessory kit handles cement and brick installations straight out of the box; wooden walls require only standard wood screws sold separately. Two people can complete a secure installation in a single session.
