This door canopy keeps your entry dry and comfortable without blocking the light. Clear 5mm hollow polycarbonate diffuses sun and channels away rain, while rust-resistant aluminum framing holds everything in place season after season. A simple addition that quietly improves every arrival home.
What Makes It Special
- UV and Rain Defense — Clear polycarbonate blocks harmful UV rays and sheds light-to-moderate rain, protecting the threshold and anyone reaching for the door.
- Heat-Dispersing Core — The hollow-sheet construction circulates air through the panel, reducing heat buildup at the entry on warm days.
- Included Hardware — All mounting hardware and instructions are in the box, covering cement and brick walls — extra wood screws are needed for wooden surfaces.
- Low-Maintenance Frame — Rust-resistant aluminum bars, PP brackets, and 5mm polycarbonate combine for a durable structure that needs no repainting or resealing.
- Clean Modern Profile — Smooth lines and a clear finish complement coastal, contemporary, and transitional exteriors without competing with the architecture.

Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
General Care
- Clean regularly with mild soap and warm water.
- Cover or store during extreme weather to extend lifespan.
- Inspect hardware connections seasonally and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Protection Without Bulk
At 40.6" wide and 38" deep, this canopy covers the full doorway zone without projecting too far from the facade. The clear polycarbonate keeps the entry bright even on overcast days. It handles gentle snow, moderate breeze, and light-to-medium rain without requiring seasonal removal.
Material Built to Last
The hollow polycarbonate panel is 5mm thick — rigid enough to bear incidental snow load and resist impact. Rust-resistant aluminum bars and PP bracket hardware mean no repainting or resealing year to year. The frame stays aligned and secure without routine maintenance.
A Straightforward Install
Two people can complete the installation in an afternoon using the included brackets, hardware, and step-by-step manual. The mounting system works on cement and brick; wooden walls need a handful of additional wood screws. No special tools or prior experience required.
