A well-protected entry sets the tone before guests step inside. This clear polycarbonate canopy spans nearly six and a half feet across your door, deflecting UV rays, light-to-moderate rain, and gentle snow without blocking natural light. Rust-resistant aluminum bars and polypropylene brackets hold everything square season after season.
What Makes It Special
- UV and Rain Defense — 5mm hollow polycarbonate blocks harmful UV rays and channels rain away from your threshold.

- Weather-Resistant Frame — Rust-resistant aluminum bars and PP brackets hold their shape and finish without painting, sealing, or annual maintenance.

Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
General Care
- Clean regularly with mild soap and warm water.
- Cover or store during extreme weather to extend lifespan.
- Inspect hardware connections seasonally and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Clear Protection, Natural Light
The 5mm hollow polycarbonate panel transmits daylight while filtering out the UV wavelengths that fade door finishes and harm skin. Rain beads off the surface and drains away from the sill, keeping the threshold dry after a passing shower.
Frame Built for Longevity
Rust-resistant aluminum bars carry the structural load across the full 78.7-inch span without sagging or corroding over time. Polypropylene brackets lock the assembly to the wall securely and resist the flex-and-crack cycle that affects lower-grade plastics in coastal climates.
Clean Install, No Ongoing Upkeep
Every bracket, fastener, and installation manual ship in the box, so you are not hunting for hardware on installation day. Brick, cement, or wood walls all work; extra wood screws are the only addition needed for wood-frame construction.
