Wicker & Rattan Frame
- Rinse with a garden hose to remove dust and pollen. For deeper cleaning, use warm water with a few drops of dish soap and a soft brush.
- Avoid pressure washers — they can damage the weave.
- PE rattan is UV-resistant but will last longest under a covered patio or with a furniture cover during extended rain.
- Inspect weave annually for any loose strands and press back into place while warm.
Cushions & Fabric
- Unzip and remove cushion covers for machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, spot-treat with mild soap before washing.
- Stand cushions on edge after rain to allow water to drain and air to circulate.
- Store cushions indoors or in a deck box during extended periods of rain, snow, or off-season.
Steel Frame
- Powder-coated finish resists rust, but wipe down periodically with a dry cloth to remove salt air residue.
- If you notice any chips or scratches in the coating, touch up with an outdoor metal paint to prevent rust.
- Check bolt connections once per season and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
All-season construction
Resin rattan is hand-woven over a powder-coated steel frame that resists rust, so the chair stays sound through sun, rain, and humidity.
Comfort that stays put
Thick seat and back cushions and a matching pillow soften the seat, and every cover zips off for cleaning when the season turns.
Indoor or out
At home on a porch, patio, or beside a reading lamp indoors, the neutral weave settles into whatever corner you give it.
