A mermaid rendered in hand-applied color on solid wood, sized to anchor a front door or fill an entryway wall. The UV coating holds up on a covered porch, in a sun-facing foyer, or anywhere coastal air finds it. Two sizes let you pair them or place each where the space calls for it.
What Makes It Special
- Handcrafted in the USA — Each piece is individually crafted from wood with hand-applied art — no two are exactly alike.
- UV-Coated for Indoor and Outdoor Use — The protective finish keeps color vivid against sun exposure and coastal humidity, whether it hangs inside or on a covered porch.
- Two Sizes — Available in 24×18 and 12×9 — use them together or place one where the scale fits.
- Ready to Hang — Mounting hardware is pre-attached to the back, so it goes up the moment it arrives — no tools required.
- A Thoughtful Coastal Gift — Substantial enough to feel intentional, coastal enough to suit year-round — works for any occasion or recipient.

Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
General Care
- Clean regularly with mild soap and warm water.
- Cover or store during extreme weather to extend lifespan.
- Inspect hardware connections seasonally and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
UV-Coated Wood Construction
Solid wood with a UV-protective finish that keeps the art vivid whether it hangs in a sunny entryway, a covered porch, or near a salt-air window.
Hardware Pre-Installed
The mounting hardware comes already attached to the back — choose your spot, hang it, done.
Designed for Pairing
The two-size format — 24×18 and 12×9 — is built to layer: one centered on a door, the other set on a nearby window or wall.
