4-Piece Metal Patio Furniture Set with Cushions
A four-piece iron patio set built for years of outdoor use — powder-coated frame, Textilene mesh seats, and 4-inch Olefin cushions that shed water and resist UV fade. The matte black finish and wood-tone armrail detail give it a clean, composed look that holds up as well as the frame itself.
What Makes It Special
- Rust-resistant frame — Powder-coated iron construction blocks moisture and UV from reaching the base metal, keeping the frame stable and corrosion-free across seasons.
- Water-repellent cushions — 4-inch high-resiliency sponge wrapped in Olefin fabric that sheds rain, resists mildew, and dries quickly after a downpour.
- UV-stable upholstery — Olefin is solution-dyed, meaning color is locked in at the fiber level — it holds up under direct coastal sun without fading or breaking down.
- Usable without cushions — Textilene mesh seating lets air circulate so the chairs stay comfortable on hot days even when the cushions are stored away.
- Cool-touch armrests — Wood-tone armrail overlay stays significantly cooler than bare metal under afternoon sun — a practical detail you notice immediately.

Cushions & Fabric
- Unzip and remove cushion covers for machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, spot-treat with mild soap before washing.
- Stand cushions on edge after rain to allow water to drain and air to circulate.
- Store cushions indoors or in a deck box during extended periods of rain, snow, or off-season.
Steel Frame
- Powder-coated finish resists rust, but wipe down periodically with a dry cloth to remove salt air residue.
- If you notice any chips or scratches in the coating, touch up with an outdoor metal paint to prevent rust.
- Check bolt connections once per season and tighten as needed.
Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Powder-Coated Iron Frame
The iron is finished with a powder coat that bonds directly to the metal surface, sealing it against moisture and oxidation. It resists rust and deformation through changing weather without requiring seasonal treatment.
Textilene Mesh Seating
The woven Textilene surface allows heat to escape and air to move through the seat, keeping it comfortable on warm days whether the cushions are in use or not. It also dries fast after rain, so the set is ready to use again quickly.
