These cedar ottomans bring rustic warmth to the patio while holding up to sun, rain, and everyday use. The natural wood frame resists rot and decay, and the padded cushions lift off for cleaning or storage. Pull one up to a chair for a footrest or add extra seating when guests arrive.
What Makes It Special
- Natural cedar frame — Solid cedar resists rot, decay, and insects, so the ottomans stay sound season after season outdoors.
- Slatted, quick-drying top — An open slat design sheds water fast after rain, keeping the frame dry and ready to use.
- UV-resistant cushions — Generously padded foam cushions wrapped in Olefin fabric hold their color under steady sun exposure.
- Removable covers — Cushion covers unzip and lift off for easy cleaning or off-season storage.
- Flexible footrest or seat — Sized to pair with patio chairs or a sofa, or to stand alone as extra seating.

Cushions & Fabric
- Unzip and remove cushion covers for machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, spot-treat with mild soap before washing.
- Stand cushions on edge after rain to allow water to drain and air to circulate.
- Store cushions indoors or in a deck box during extended periods of rain, snow, or off-season.
Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
