Wicker & Rattan Frame
- Rinse with a garden hose to remove dust and pollen. For deeper cleaning, use warm water with a few drops of dish soap and a soft brush.
- Avoid pressure washers — they can damage the weave.
- PE rattan is UV-resistant but will last longest under a covered patio or with a furniture cover during extended rain.
- Inspect weave annually for any loose strands and press back into place while warm.
Steel Frame
- Powder-coated finish resists rust, but wipe down periodically with a dry cloth to remove salt air residue.
- If you notice any chips or scratches in the coating, touch up with an outdoor metal paint to prevent rust.
- Check bolt connections once per season and tighten as needed.
Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Heat you control
The 40,000 BTU burner pairs with adjustable flame control, so you can push back the chill on a cool night or ease it down to a quiet, steady glow. Electronic pulse ignition lights it in a moment, no matches required.
