Oval-Back Rattan Dining Chairs with Carved Wood Legs, Set of 6
Six chairs that earn their place at the table. Each features an oval rattan backrest — a quieter alternative to the usual rectangle — set on rubber wood legs carved with clean, considered lines. The foam-filled seat and back cushion in warm beige hold their shape through daily meals and long Sunday dinners alike.
What Makes It Special
- Oval Rattan Backrest — The woven oval back breathes well and catches the eye without competing with the rest of the room.
- Foam-Filled Comfort — Seat and backrest cushions pack enough density to stay comfortable through a full dinner and the conversation after.
- Carved Rubber Wood Legs — Sturdy rubber wood legs with hand-carved detailing give each chair a finished, considered silhouette.
- Three Backrest Materials — Choose from breathable woven rattan, wear-resistant linen, or easy-clean PU leather to match your household's needs.
- Complete Set of Six — All six chairs ship together, ready to seat a full table without a follow-up order.

Wicker & Rattan Frame
- Rinse with a garden hose to remove dust and pollen. For deeper cleaning, use warm water with a few drops of dish soap and a soft brush.
- Avoid pressure washers — they can damage the weave.
- PE rattan is UV-resistant but will last longest under a covered patio or with a furniture cover during extended rain.
- Inspect weave annually for any loose strands and press back into place while warm.
Cushions & Fabric
- Unzip and remove cushion covers for machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, spot-treat with mild soap before washing.
- Stand cushions on edge after rain to allow water to drain and air to circulate.
- Store cushions indoors or in a deck box during extended periods of rain, snow, or off-season.
Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Oval Backrest Profile
Unlike a standard rectangular backrest, the oval silhouette softens the dining room's geometry and reads as mid-century without veering into period-piece territory.
Rubber Wood Construction
The frame is solid rubber wood — a dense, stable hardwood — shaped into carved legs that add visual presence where it counts, without adding bulk.
Cushion Quality
High-density foam fills both the seat and backrest, maintaining shape over time rather than compressing flat after a few months of daily use.
