A deep, round papasan seat that rocks. Handwoven rattan wraps the frame while a thick, high-resilience cushion cradles you from head to knee, so an afternoon on the porch turns into a long one. At roughly 39 inches across, it gives you room to curl up.
What Makes It Special
- Handwoven Rattan — Natural rattan is woven around the full frame and matched with a handwoven head pillow for a soft, textured finish.
- Full-Body Cushion — A thick high-resilience fill follows your body's curves so your back, hips, and shoulders stay supported.
- Easy Rocking Motion — The curved base glides in a slow, steady rock that settles you without any effort.
- Indoor or Out — At home on a balcony, porch, or garden, and just as easy in a sunroom or reading nook.
- Oversized Seat — Nearly 39 inches across gives you space to sit upright or fold your legs in and lean back.

Wicker & Rattan Frame
- Rinse with a garden hose to remove dust and pollen. For deeper cleaning, use warm water with a few drops of dish soap and a soft brush.
- Avoid pressure washers — they can damage the weave.
- PE rattan is UV-resistant but will last longest under a covered patio or with a furniture cover during extended rain.
- Inspect weave annually for any loose strands and press back into place while warm.
Cushions & Fabric
- Unzip and remove cushion covers for machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, spot-treat with mild soap before washing.
- Stand cushions on edge after rain to allow water to drain and air to circulate.
- Store cushions indoors or in a deck box during extended periods of rain, snow, or off-season.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Built To Be Lived In
A steel frame carries the weight while the woven rattan keeps the look light. The two work together so the chair holds up to daily use without feeling heavy in the room.
A Cushion That Holds Its Shape
The seat is stuffed with high-resilience cotton-blend fill under a soft woven cover. It compresses when you sit and springs back when you rise, so it stays plump season after season.
The Head Pillow
A separate handwoven rattan-and-fabric pillow supports your neck at the top of the seat. It adds one more point of comfort for reading, dozing, or simply watching the day go by.
