Faux Linen Storage Ottoman in Charcoal
A well-made ottoman should earn its floor space twice over. This charcoal faux-linen piece seats up to 100 kg on a triple-cushioned top, then opens to a roomy cavity that holds blankets, throws, and anything else that tends to drift across a living room. Solid-wood construction and robust hinges mean it holds its shape season after season.
What Makes It Special
- Triple cushion top — Three layers of foam wrapped in charcoal faux linen—firm enough to sit on, soft enough to linger.
- Lift-up storage lid — Robust hinges hold the lid open while you retrieve what you need, then lower quietly on their own.
- Faux linen finish — 100% polyester faux linen in a neutral charcoal tone that reads as understated and pairs with most living room palettes.
- Solid wood frame — Internal solid-wood structure supports 100 kg of seated weight and 50 kg of stored goods—no flex, no sag.
- Detachable legs — Remove for a lower profile or to tuck under a console; reattach for the full 37 cm seat height.

Cushions & Fabric
- Unzip and remove cushion covers for machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, spot-treat with mild soap before washing.
- Stand cushions on edge after rain to allow water to drain and air to circulate.
- Store cushions indoors or in a deck box during extended periods of rain, snow, or off-season.
Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Storage that disappears
The lift-top lid opens to a 92 × 36.5 × 24 cm interior—enough room for a full set of throw blankets, board games, or kids' toys, all tucked behind a clean charcoal face.
Built to bear weight
A solid wood frame rated to 100 kg of seated load and 50 kg of stored weight makes this ottoman a permanent fixture, not a stopgap.
A finish that travels
Charcoal faux linen is neutral enough to anchor a coastal living room, a media room, or a guest bedroom—wherever you need a surface and a hiding place at once.
