Cushions & Fabric
- Unzip and remove cushion covers for machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, spot-treat with mild soap before washing.
- Stand cushions on edge after rain to allow water to drain and air to circulate.
- Store cushions indoors or in a deck box during extended periods of rain, snow, or off-season.
Steel Frame
- Powder-coated finish resists rust, but wipe down periodically with a dry cloth to remove salt air residue.
- If you notice any chips or scratches in the coating, touch up with an outdoor metal paint to prevent rust.
- Check bolt connections once per season and tighten as needed.
Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
General Care
- Clean regularly with mild soap and warm water.
- Cover or store during extreme weather to extend lifespan.
- Inspect hardware connections seasonally and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
Built to Hold Its Own
The reinforced metal frame and wide-set legs give this console real stability underfoot. Load the shelves with hardcovers or a turntable and the tabletop stays level and solid year after year.
Storage That Stays Tidy
Foldable fabric drawers hide the day-to-day odds and ends, while open shelves keep books and boxes within reach. Together they strike a balance between display and discretion in tight quarters.
A Look That Layers In
Warm wood surfaces and a clean metal frame read as easy and lived-in rather than fussy. It pairs naturally with woven baskets, ceramics, and the coastal neutrals already in your space.
