A square coffee table built around a recessed base that gives it a quiet floating look while leaving room for your feet. The 31.5-inch top is warmed by okume wood veneer and split into four open sections, so drinks, remotes, and books each have a place to land.
What Makes It Special
- Okume wood veneer — A smooth, richly toned veneer gives the table a warm, natural finish that settles easily into a coastal living room.
- Four open sections — The 31.5-inch top is divided into four distinct zones to keep drinks, books, and games organized without clutter.
- Floating recessed base — The set-back base creates a floating look while adding toe clearance and making it simple to sweep underneath.
- Heavy-duty build — Solid construction underneath the veneer keeps the table steady through daily living-room use.
- Modern square profile — Clean lines and a two-tone walnut and black palette pair well with sofas, sectionals, and lounge seating.

Wood Care
- Clean with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently along the grain with a soft bristle brush.
- Apply teak oil or wood sealant once or twice a year to maintain the warm golden color.
- If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect durability.
- Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before re-oiling to restore the original finish.
General Care
- Clean regularly with mild soap and warm water.
- Cover or store during extreme weather to extend lifespan.
- Inspect hardware connections seasonally and tighten as needed.
Following these care guidelines will help your Coastal Standard furniture look beautiful for years to come.
A top that stays organized
The four recessed sections give everyday items a home instead of a pile. Set a drink in one, stack books in another, and keep the surface feeling composed.
The floating look, explained
The base is drawn in from the edges so the tabletop appears to hover just above the floor. It is a small detail that opens up the room and makes cleaning underneath effortless.
Warm veneer, lasting finish
Okume veneer brings a soft, natural grain and an ultra-smooth surface. The finish holds up to daily use while keeping the tone warm and inviting.
